We travel to Exeter to board our train, travelling on one of England’s best loved stretches of railway, ‘The Riviera Line’, as it hugs the coast, stopping at several picturesque seaside towns along the way. Travel down two estuaries, past dramatic cliffs, sweeping along the sea wall, with spectacular views of Dawlish Warren and Powderham Castle. The train takes you right along the sea to Teignmouth, inland to Newton Abbot, and onto the seaside town of Paignton where the rest of the afternoon is free to explore.
