Tywyn and the Tal y Lyn Railway Day Excursion
Tywyn is in the heart of Cardigan Bay and is a picture book Victorian resort town with a long stretch of sandy coastline and sand dunes. It has some interesting shops, Wurlitzer Organ in the Drill Hall and a railway museum. The Tal y Lyn Railway is a historic narrow gauge steam railway which runs from Tywyn to Nant Gwernol, passing the delightful Dolgoch Falls, through the charming Fathew Valley, past streams and waterfalls, through beautiful valleys.
