Emmerdale Village Tour and Esholt Day Excursion
This fully guided, walking tour of the exterior set takes around 1.5 hours and, as it is a working TV set has some uneven surfaces and hilly areas. You will saunter past the familiar haunts of The Woolpack, the village Church and Hall, and rows of stone cottages known as home to your favourite Emmerdale characters. Guides will share secrets, stories and reveal fascinating facts behind the making of the, multi award winning, ITV soap. The picturesque village of Esholt was used for village scenes for Emmerdale from 1976 to 1997 until it was relocated to the purpose built replica on the Harwood Estate. It is home to The Woolpack Inn providing great food and hand-pulled cask ales, and is a great place for a photo opportunity as well as viewing photos of the cast, past and present.
