City of Wells and Bishops Palace & Garden Day Excursion
We visit the smallest city in England, which has the appearance of a quintessentially English village! The beautiful city of Wells is named after the three springs, or wells, which rise within the city. The iconic cathedral has brought people together for over 800 years and its famous clock is the oldest surviving of its kind in the world. Vicars Close is Europes oldest intact street. We visit the medieval moated Bishops Palace and Gardens, complete with resident muted swans. Cross the flagstone drawbridge, walk under the portcullis and explore the magnificent 14 acres of gardens and well pools.
Adults: £34
