Broadway, Gloucester & Warwickshire Railway and Cheltenham Day Excursion
We travel to Broadway, where the pretty High Street is lined with horse chestnut trees and includes a mixture of period houses and picturesque honey coloured Cotswold Stone cottages. Known as ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds’, it has a Museum and Art Gallery and Design Museum and independent shops to explore. At lunchtime we board the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway, from the newly extended station at Broadway, and now the new northern terminus. We travel on a single journey through the beautiful Cotswold countryside, lasting about an hour, to Cheltenham, where our coach will be waiting to transport you to central Cheltenham to enjoy a few free hours. The spa town offers glorious gardens, an impressive range of shops and fabulous museums.
