Popular in Europe since the Middle Ages, the Christmas Markets of Holland Germany and Belgium remain a huge attraction. Not just a chance to do some Christmas shopping, they have their own unique character and atmosphere, especially when Gluhwein flows and sausages sizzle.

Valkenburg: From our base we have plenty of time to explore Valkenburg Christmas Market, with stalls uniquely located inside caves protected from the elements. Marvel at the illuminated caves and passageways, transforming the underground corridors into a magical Christmas Village.
Excursion 2
Liege Christmas Market: This Christmas Village is one of the oldest and largest of its kind in Belgium, with over 200 chalets and a warm and festive atmosphere.
Excursion 3
Aachen: Stalls line the squares and lanes around the UNESCO protected Aachen Cathedral and Town Hall.
