Scotland's royal connections are revealed in this tour, visiting some spectacular palaces and castles as well as seeing wonderful scenery. Our base is Blairgowrie, sitting on the banks of the river Ericht.

Excursion 1
Holyroodhouse and Royal Yacht Britannia. we travel to Edinburgh and along the Royal Mile, to the palace of Holyroodhouse, the Kings official residence in Scotland. a few miles away the port of Leith is home to the royal Yacht Britannia, where we explore the five decks.
Excursion 2
Stirling Castle and Scone Palace. We visit Stirling Castle, the royal palace once the childhood home of Mary Queen of Scots. Later we visit Scone Palace, near Perth, the crowning place of Scottish Kings.
Excursion 3
Royal Deeside, Balmoral and Glamis Castle. We travel to Royal deeside, the Balmoral Castle, holiday home of the Royal family. Visit the gardens, grounds, gift shops and exhibitions. we make a short stop at Crathie Kirk, the local church used by the Royal Family, and visit Glamis Castle in the afternoon, the childhood home of the Queen and Queen Mother.
Excursion 4
Pitlochry and Blair castle and garden. Pitlochry is a tourist town well known for its dams and salmon ladder and its Baronial architecture. Blair Castle is home to the Atholl Highlanders, the last remaining private army in Europe , with collections housed in over 30 rooms and tranquil gardens to explore.
