Famous for its long sandy beaches, calm waters and a colourful pier, Paignton remains a popular, traditional seaside resort. Ride the steam railway, visit the zoo or take an evening stroll under the beach front illuminations.

Excursion 1
Brixham. We head for the pretty harbour town, one of the UK's busiest fishing ports. It has a range of art galleries and its landmark attraction, the Golden Hind replica is a fascinating recreation of Sir Francis Drake's flagship.
Excursion 2
Dartmoor and House of marbles. We enjoy a visit to the House of marbles, with working glassworks, interesting museum and glass runs. Scenery abounds as we head to Haytor and Widecombe in the Moor, before crossing the brooding moors to Princetown and the Dartmoor Prison Museum.
Excursion 3
Buckfast Abbey with cream tea. The abbey is a working monastery in a beautiful wooded valley beside the River Dart. A community of Benedictine monks live self sufficiently, welcoming visitor from around the world. It includes an exhibition and gardens. we include afternoon tea.

Situated directly on the waters edge, in three acres of grounds and enjoying panoramic views of Torbay. All rooms have TV, hospitality tray and hairdryer.
