Afternoon Tea Box on Outward Journey
Day 1
We depart local area and after a suitable stop to enjoy our afternoon tea box, travel to County Durham, to a welcome drink at the Blackwell Grange Hotel. after dinner relax and enjoy light entertainment.
Day 2
Christmas Eve: We travel through Bilsdale - 'Little Switzerland', on the way to Helmsley for a break and continue to Thirsk, home of James Herriot.
Day 3
Christmas Day: Merry Christmas! Enjoy a relaxingmorning before Christmas Dinner and a visit from Santa. Listen to the Kings Speech with a slice of Christmas cake, and later enjoy Christmas DAy Buffet followed by a quiz and music from the resident DJ.
DAy 4
Boxing Day: We visit the city of Durham, acclaimed as a World Heritage Site, and dominated by the cathedral and castle. We have a final evening of entertainment after dinner.
Day 5
After breakfast we begin our homeward journey.

A stunning 17th century mansion nestled in wooded parkland in Darlington. All rooms have TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray. There is a restaurant, bar, lift and leisure facilities including indoor swimming pool, spa and sauna.
