A great day out, go on a guided tour and soak up over 900 years of history, from medieval fortress to family home at Berkeley Castle. Enjoy the terraced gardens with views over the River Severn. We arrive at Slimbridge at lunchtime and enjoy a light lunch and then afterwards explore 100s of acres of beautiful wetland landscape. Meet ducks, geese and swans from all over the world and take in breathtaking views of the Devern Estuary. Spot all six species of flamingo and immerse yourself in Slimbridges eight new exhibits including the Living Wetland Theatre. Tea and biscuits served at 10:00am.
