We enjoy free time in the seaside resort of Aberystwyth, on the rugged Ceredigon coastline. It boasts the oldest pier in Wales, a mile long Victorian promenade, with the worlds largest Camera Obscura. The Cliff Railway is the longest in Britain. It is a foodie heaven and offers lovely independant shops to browse. The Arts Centre and National Library of Wales are also worth a visit. In the afternoon we include a return ride on the Rheidol railway, a stunning journey along the Rheidol Valley, through the ancient woodlands to Devil's Bridge, home of the famous waterfalls, nestling in the magnificient Cambrian Mountains.
