We visit the principal seaside resort in west wales, Aberystwyth. Situated in a striking setting nestling between three hills with colourful Victorian and Edwardian terraces lining the seafront. Ride the ectric funicular railway, the longest in Britain, and at the summit is an octagonal camera obscura, the biggest in the world, with views of town, mountains and bays. There is also an arts centre, national library of Wales, ruins of Aberystwyth Castle and excellent shopping centre to explore. Borth sits virtually at the centre of Cardigan Bay and its main attraction is its award winning sand and shingle beach. There is also Borth Wild Animal Kingdom to explore, as well as the Borth Station Museum and nature reserve.
