Grantham is an attractive town, and was birthplace of Sir Isaac Newton. There is a good range of shops and shopping centre, museum and Guildhall. We visit Belton House, often cited as being the perfect example of an English country house estate, with a fine collection of porcelain and silver and a world-renowned library and elegant formal gardens and pleasure gardens.
